Step 1: Press Windows + R
Press the Windows key and the "R" key simultaneously on your keyboard to open the "Run" dialog box.
Step 2: Type shell:AppsFolder and press Enter
In the "Run" dialog box, type "shell:AppsFolder" and hit Enter. This will take you to the "Apps" folder on your Windows 11 system.
Step 3: Locate WhatsApp
Scroll through the "Apps" folder or use the search bar to find the WhatsApp application.
Step 4: Create the desktop icon
Drag the WhatsApp application to your desktop or right-click on it and select "Create shortcut" to place the icon on your desktop.
With these four steps, you have successfully created a WhatsApp desktop icon on your Windows 11 PC. Now you can conveniently access WhatsApp from your desktop without having to navigate through a web browser or application search.
